Stage 2: Design

Process And Technical Diagram Editor

Turn complex operations into diagrams people can review

AviFlow is a diagramming tool for teams that need to map processes, responsibilities, relationships, and selected risk or technical structures before they write controlled documents or automate work. It supports flowcharts, process maps, organisation charts, concept maps, selected BPMN-style diagrams, bow-tie and fault-tree style views, and selected technical diagrams.

  • Best for:
    • Process owners, operations managers, quality teams, and technical writers
    • Consultants, engineers, and specialist reviewers
    • Regulated and procedure-driven organisations across aviation, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, food, transport, and more

What AviFlow helps you do

1. Map processes and decisions

Create flowcharts and process maps with activities, decisions, documents, data, and connectors so teams can see how work is meant to happen.

2. Clarify roles and responsibilities

Show ownership, hand-offs, approvals, and reporting relationships with organisation and responsibility views that make accountability easier to follow.

3. Visualise complicated logic

Use concept maps, mind maps, bow-tie-style structures, and fault-tree style diagrams to support discussion where relationships are difficult to explain in plain text.

4. Draft selected technical diagrams

Use supported symbol libraries for selected technical views, including process, instrumentation, and electrical-style diagrams where visual structure matters.

5. Start faster with templates or assisted drafting

Begin from a template or an assisted first draft, then refine the diagram with the people who know the operation best.

6. Check and export your work

Run supported structural checks and export diagrams in PNG, SVG, JSON, or print-to-PDF formats for review and controlled use.

Why teams use AviFlow

Most organisations do not struggle because they have no process.

They struggle because:

  • different teams describe the same process differently;
  • responsibilities and hand-offs are unclear;
  • procedures are too text-heavy to review quickly;
  • redesign work starts before the current state is understood;
  • people need a shared picture before they can document, improve, or automate anything.

AviFlow helps make the operation visible before bigger decisions are made.

Scope and important limits

AviFlow helps teams create and review diagrams. It does not by itself confirm that a process is compliant, that a risk analysis is valid, or that an engineering design is correct.

AviFlow may support selected BPMN-style, flowchart, risk, and technical notation, but that should not be presented as full standards conformance without a separate assessment in the relevant scope.

Assisted drafting helps produce a first version faster. Final acceptance remains with the person or specialist responsible for the operation, analysis, or design.
